From an article on music-based mobile games comes (via Music Ally) this bit of info on sell-through for Katy Perry: Over 250,000 people downloaded Perry's "Hot N Cold" to play on Tap Tap Revenge, and 56,000 of them later purchased the song at iTunes. That's a 22.4% conversation rate. No other examples were offered by Tapulous, the game's maker, and case studies tendered by companies tend to be the best they have to offer. And the song is a huge hit, which was going to help sell through anyway. But still, 22.4% is really good.

If you don't know how Tap Tap revenge works on the iPhone and iPod Touch, the company has this video at YouTube.
