Music GroupsAlbum Sales Still Weak in Q4
Taking a look at SoundScan album sales numbers available at Billboard.biz, one can see album sales are not faring well in Q4. Through Sunday, total sales since the beginning of October were down a shade under 22% versus the same period in 2007. The deficit was 20.4% in September, 19.4% in October and 21.4% in (roughly) November.
