• TuneCore and iLike have partnered to create a service that is basically the exact sum of their parts. The only difference is the artist can get both services through one registration. (Press release)

• Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins is leaving Universal Music Group to join Warner Music Group in an effort to break into America. If PBS is on board, anything is possible. The five-album deal is worth $10 million and is said to be the largest in classical history. (The Telegraph)
