Krist Novoselic announced he won't run for Washington's state lieutenant, although he does want to stay active in politics. The former Nirvana bass player, who had two short-lived music projects since Kurt Cobain's death, will probably stay out of sight of most Americans until 2014--the year Nirvana is eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
